SkyTab POS v1.115.5 Rolling Out Next Week

SkyTab POS v1.115.5 will begin rolling out next week, on Tuesday, May 13th, to all merchants as an Optional update. This update will become Required on Tuesday, May 20th. Our latest SkyTab POS release brings several new features and improvements aimed at enhancing usability, compliance, and operational efficiency.

New Features

• Employee Permission: “Allow Receipt Reprints”

  • A new employee-level permission allows managers to control which employees can reprint receipts.

• Printer Margin Enhancements for SNBC S80 & R88

  • We’ve improved default margin alignment and added the ability to automatically set margins on save.

  • To review or update margins, go to Manager > Settings > Hardware > Printer/KDS > Select SNBC_BTP_S80 > Set Margins

• “Print Quantities Individually” (Label Printers)

  • A new setting allows label printers to print one label per unit of an item when multiple quantities are ordered—ideal for precise labeling.

• Ontario HST Rebate Support (Canada Only)

  • SkyTab POS now supports automatic application of Ontario’s HST rebate rules based on item type, subtotal, and quantity thresholds—when configured in Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM).

Improvements

• Clarified Gratuity Filter Setting

  • Renamed “Filter Gratuity by Order Type” to “Filter Automatic Gratuity by Order Type” for better clarity.

• Tip Prompt Flexibility

  • Users can now update the Prompt for Tip setting on payment device tenders.

• Loyalty Tagging

  • A new “Loyalty Member” banner appears on orders received from SkyTab Online, improving visibility and engagement tracking.
