SkyTab POS Automatic Shift Merge Feature
Dear Valued Merchant,
We recently released a new SkyTab POS feature that is designed to reduce the hassle of overlapping employee shifts. The Automatic Shift Merge feature will detect any overlapping shifts an employee may have and merge these to a single timeclock record to reduce the possibility of labor reporting issues.
There is nothing you need to do to enable this feature, as SkyTab automatically handles these overlaps in the background. When duplicate, overlapping shifts are detected, SkyTab will merge these records to a new single timeclock record using the earliest clock in time and latest clock out time. Managers will be prompted to review the merged shifts when accessing the Manager>Timeclock screen on the POS.
