These are Pre-Release notes with the anticipated contents of a Canary release targeted for June 30, 2026. There is potential for changes in the scope and timing of the release. We will send final release notes upon completion of the release.


Quick Service POS v2.62.5

Enhancements:

  • Multiple tabs from the same menu can now be combined into a single tab

    • Manager approval is not required if the attendant is combining two of their own tabs

    • Manager approval is required if combining one or more of another attendant's tabs

  • The auto-logout timeframe is now configurable (default is 3 hours)

    • To configure:

      • Menu Manager > Revenue Centers > select a Revenue Center > scroll to POS Attendant Logout > enter number of minutes > tap Save

        OR

      • Menu Manager > Settings > Venue Settings > scroll to POS Attendant Logout > enter number of minutes > tap Save

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where a print error toast message would persist when placing an order in tabs mode containing items not configured for kitchen printing


Menu Manager v3.6.0

Enhancements:

  • Added support for configuring whether custom tip percentages include tax at the Revenue Center level.

  • Added venue-level Kiosk Manager Alcohol Approval settings, with Revenue Center-level overrides where needed.

  • Improved Revenue Center navigation performance in Menu Manager

  • Updated Bulk Item Upload validation to better align with the External Items API by removing front-end requirements for Reporting Categories and Price.

  • Added the ability to configure an Auto-logout time at the Venue level and at the Revenue Center level

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where CSV uploads failed for items that had previously been deleted through the API.

  • Fixed an issue where bulk item imports failed when exported prices used single-decimal formatting, such as 0.0.

  • Fixed an issue where saving a Display Category with a Display Name over the character limit exposed a raw database error to the user.


Refund App v3.7.0

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where Amazon Just Walk Out card-present orders displayed the payment type as Unknown in Canopy 2.0

  • Fixed an issue where Amazon Just Walk Out GiveX orders displayed as Unknown on the Canopy 2.0 Orders List page

  • Fixed an issue where the Discounts tab was missing from the dropdown when Menu Manager was opened from Refund or Access App


Mobile Ordering Web v1.75.0

Enhancements:

  • Sites using Ticketmaster can now be configured to automatically claim the value of Ticketmaster loaded tickets, add it to the ticketholder's loyalty account balance, and account for ticket transfers

    • Reach out to your Account Manager or Shift4 Venue Support to enable this functionality

  • Affiliations tied to a ticket can be configured to not apply until the event day
