Required POS Update (Update: June 26, 2023)

As noted in our announcement from February 22, 2023, following a FreedomPay platform issue on September 18, 2022, they announced an end of life of the middleware as of October 10, 2022.  As a result of this end of life, SpotOn updated several versions of ActivateX and InteractX builds and provided a timeline through the end of March 31, 2023 to update.  

FreedomPay intends to block all traffic from any devices using versions no longer supported as of June 30, 2023.  We urge you to update to one of the below versions:

15.13.4+

16.x+

InteractX

1.22.4+

Samsung Handhelds

Please note that all Samsung devices will need to be updated as well which requires updating each device individually. See instructions on how to update Activate Samsung devices. 

Final Notes
