Content: SpotOn Restaurant had a release on Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon, 6/8-9/22. This release included the small features and bug fixes listed below:

Feature Update:

• SMS Quick response is now available with preset fixed messages the user can selected within the message details modal. Preset messages are set up in BOH and can be select via the FOH.

  
  
  

• The setup requirements for implementing Scan & Pay were reduced. This decouples scan & pay from online ordering order types & schedules. This addresses an issue causing Scan & Pay to display an error when online ordering isn’t configured correctly.

    • Accept scheduled orders must be checked

    • MerchantID must be defined

    • GHLC API Key/Secret Populated

    • Pickup &/or Delivery Order Types Mapped

  • Requirements Now:

    • GHLC API Key/Secret Populated

    • SpotOn VTS Payment Type Defined

    • Enable Print QR Code

    • SpotOn MerchantID must be defined

      

Bug Fixes:

• Resolved a bug for items being deleted from an order after auto logout had occurred

• Menu no longer shrinks when selecting “Send Unsent Items” from prompt from list orders

• Tips are now correctly captured when “Print Receipt When Payment Taken” is set to “Yes” on a station type

• Nested sub-items now display correctly until the parent sub-item

  

• Screen no longer crashes when selecting multiple checks to make a payment with cash discounting setting enabled
