Content: This SpotOn Reserve Web Portal release updates the UI to current SpotOn Branding Standards, brings consistent functionality between the Weblink and Web Widget technologies, while also adding additional minor features and updates.

Bug Fixes, Updates and Enhancements:

Reserve Integration Updates

  • Updated POS integration to allow guest data transfer to Restaurant POS, including birthdays, celebrations, allergies, etc. for hosts and servers to view in order to create a great guest experience.

  • Updated the no-show fee integration with Virtual Terminal which will allow us to "hold" a credit card and charge it later.

  • Updated SpotOn Loyalty integration to share member number only if enabled in Settings

  • Updated Reserve with Google booking to provide it with its own kinesis queue

  • Updated payments integration for deposits feature to send more data for AVS compliance

  • Updated welcome text blocking takeout order texts for orders created in Restaurant POS

Reserve Admin Tool Updates

  • Added bulk uploading tool for adding employee lists to new locations

  • Added transfer tool to preview/modify a location before moving to a different company

Reserve Login Updates

  • Removed Employee Number from login screen credential options

  • Removed SpotOn Header Link to spoton.com

  • Updated Login to require re-login in the case of a change in user password

Reserve Web Portal Reporting Updates

  • General - Updated UI to represent SpotOn current branding standards

  • Home (Dashboard) - Added wait time by section for improved wait time visibility

  • Schedule (Reservations) - Added forward and backward buttons to calendar

  • Schedule (Reservations) - Added Take Out Orders to Schedule View

  • Schedule (Reservations) - Added Restore functionality for canceled Takeout Orders

  • Schedule (Reservations) - Added ability to cancel Reservations without notifying Guests

  • Analytics - Added specific dates to analytics pages as a query parameter

Reserve Settings Updates

  • In API - Added “Last Name Required” check box

  • In Employees - Required at least one permission is required when creating a new role

  • In Dining Room/Sections - Added a Download button to export Sections

  • In Open Hours - Added ability to set a date range of Special Open Hours

  • In Paging Messages - Added “Cancel” and “Confirm” as valid SMS responses

  • In Program Settings - Added configuration of advance time to Auto Confirm Reservation Text 

  • In Program Settings - Added the word “Party” to min and max size labels

  • In Reservation Blackout Times - Added ability to set a date range for Special Blackout Times

  • In Program Settings - Added AutoCancel condition for waitlists

  • In Server Schedule - Added a Download button to export server charts
