Reports (DataNow)
Enhancements:
Service Charge reporting
Service charge amounts have been removed from Gross Sales and Net Sales.
Any service charge previously included in item sales has also been excluded.
To reconcile sales with payment tenders, Amount Settled = Net Sales + Service Charge + Donations + Tax + Tip.
Employee Sales by Creator & Payment Type
Each unique payment type now appears on its own line (no more comma-separated values).
Settlement Amount has replaced Gross Sales, Net Sales, and Items Sold for clarity.
Orders total drill through
Clicking on an Orders total now drills into a detailed dataset, including order financials and user notes.
Item Sales tiles
Added Price columns to these datasets.
Donations
A new Donation Amount tile has been added to the top of all sales reports.
We’ve added a new Late Syncing Sales tile to the Settlements dashboard to help you identify orders that were created on a device but synced to our platform on a later date.
In these cases, the Date Created on Device (when the order was created on the device) differs from the Calendar Date (when the order syncs to the platform). For example, a $1,000 order created on August 9 but synced on August 10 will show up on August 10 in Processor Sales and Payment Method Sales in the F&B Sales dashboard, but on August 9 in Settlement Amount by Processor.
The Late Syncing Sales tile makes these discrepancies easy to spot, so you can better align your sales to what you see in your gateway sales from the payment processor.
BETA Update: 7-Day Reports
Reports marked with “7-Day:” focus on the past seven days of data, helping deliver faster, more efficient queries. While performance gains may vary depending on your data, these reports are optimized to give you a quicker way to access recent insights.
Report Consistency Updates
Consistent structure applied across all sales reporting tiles (e.g., removed row numbers).
Location field in DataNow is now labeled Revenue Center for alignment with Canopy.
Order Confirmation Number replaces the Order ID filter.
Settlement by Processor is now titled Settlements
