Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where guests were not being prompted for a tip on handhelds under certain conditions

  • Fixed an issue where, following a software update, the CFD screen was blank until adding items to the cart for the first time

  • Fixed an issue where the user would be logged out of the POS after applying an affiliation discount from the wallet under certain conditions

  • Fixed an issue where the CFD would become disconnected after rebooting the L1400 with one or more items in the cart

  • Fixed an issue where the seat picker from a previously selected menu would continue to be presented after switching to a new menu


In addition to the latest bug fixes, the following updates were re-deployed following a rollback to 2.52 on 10/3:

Enhancements

  • Cart updates

    • When applicable, service charge and tax will now be displayed in the cart

    • The order Total will now be displayed in the cart (subtotal + service charge + tax) instead of the Subtotal

  • Tax on orders can now be exempted - See SkyTab Venue Exempt Tax for more details on this feature

    • Requires manager approval

    • Tax exemptions are initiated from the cart (for non-tabs menus) and from the tender selection screen (for tabs menus) 

    • When exempting tax, an exemption reason must be entered

    • Only exclusive tax may be exempted

    • Once tax is exempted from an order, it cannot be reapplied

    • If tax is exempted from an order, the tax line on receipts will display “Exempt” as the value

  • Previously authorized cards on a tab can now be used when closing the tab to multiple tenders

  • Improved the handling of CFD disconnections on the POS

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed E700 latency, bringing performance back to that in version 2.52

  • Fixed an issue where there was latency when entering order notes under certain conditions

  • Fixed an issue where card transactions were intermittently being duplicated under certain conditions

  • Fixed an issue where tax was not being charged on taxable service charge for offline orders

  • Fixed an issue where orders were incorrectly being marked as unsyncable under certain conditions
