Feature Update: Checkout Optimizations
The Ecommerce team has simplified and streamlined the checkout experience for ecom customers. In order to deliver an optimal experience to customers, we've segmented the checkout flow into steps for better navigation, as well as brought the Ecom checkout experience more in line with Nexus and SpotOn design standards
Better performance and quicker page load times aim to improve customer satisfaction and checkout conversion rates
Here's an example of a local pickup order's steps, starting with customer details:
After the customer's info has been entered, they can choose their delivery method.
Once the delivery method has been selected, they will be prompted to pay via CC/Gpay/Apple Pay (not pictured here):
After payment is processed they will see a confirmation screen and any loyalty points they may have accrued as part of their order:
