We’re introducing an updated reporting structure in Canopy 2.0 designed to deliver faster load times, a cleaner experience, and more consistent drill-throughs — while preserving the data access and workflows you rely on today.

What’s Changing
Reports are being reorganized into tiers to improve performance and usability.
Each new dashboard will also include a brief description at the top outlining its intended use case, helping guide users toward the appropriate report for operational vs. historical analysis.
Reports for the current month
Optimized for day-to-day operations and in-event analysis.
These reports include the current month plus the trailing 7 days from the previous month to ensure continuity.

Historical Reports
Optimized for trend analysis across the previous 12 completed months, enabling faster queries and more consistent performance for longer date ranges.

A combined view supporting both short-term operational insights and longer-term performance analysis in one place.
Rollout Timeline
Phase 1 – Beginning March 4, with select users seeing updates as early as February 25
New reports launch while existing reports remain available for at least one month, allowing time to compare and transition comfortably.
Phase 2 – Beginning April 8
A set of legacy reports will be retired. All functionality is fully covered within the new structure. A complete list of these reports will be released in March with guidance on migrating existing scheduled reports.
Phase 3 – Targeting Q2
We are planning an enhancement to introduce dashboard tabs within reports, enabling users to:
Toggle between current month and historical views
Navigate between different levels of sales reporting (Items, Payments, Adjustments, etc.)
This enhancement is designed to improve organization, reduce clutter, and further enhance performance by loading only the active view..
Timing for this phase is dependent on full platform support for dashboard tab functionality. Once available, we plan to move quickly toward implementation, targeting Q2.
If you have scheduled report deliveries tied to reports being retired, please review and migrate them during Phase 1 to avoid disruption. Your account team can assist in identifying impacted schedules and recommended replacements.
