Feature Update: New Merchant Activation for Appointments with Retail

A few months ago, the appointments team completed our integration with the new Retail catalog experience. Since then we've been running a beta with several merchants to make sure everything was working as it should be. We also worked on creating an automated process for new merchants to be able to have access to the new appointments/retail experience without the need for the appointments and retail developers to manually enable them.

As of this morning, we have deployed this automated process in production and all new Appointments merchants will be automatically onboarded into the new shared Appointments/Retail experience without behind-the-scenes developer intervention. This is super exciting as it allows all new merchants interested in appointments to enjoy the maximum benefits of the appointments integration with retail as soon as they are activated.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed regression issues from the latest spoton-lib update

  • Fixed issue preventing two-word last names from appearing in full on the calendar

  • Fixed error preventing booking with full-prepayment through the online booking wizard

  • Fixed "Assign team members" label text not fitting in the catalog dropdown

  • Added spacing between the order number and order amount in the order sidebar

  • Fixed issue causing category tooltips with long names to be cut off in the sidebar

  • Fixed issue causing avatars in the Team Member screen of the sidebar to be stretched out

  • Fixed issue causing the status dropdown to not be centered in the list day view

  • Fixed misaligned text in the "remove shift" modal

  • Fixed text formatting on the "delete appointment" modal

  • Fixed issue causing the checkout sidebar to not display the deposit information
