Content: SpotOn Restaurant had a release on Tuesday morning, 6/28/22. This release included the Reserve Integration, additional small features and bug fixes listed below:

Feature Updates:

• Reserve can now send information to the POS and the POS can attach the user to the order so they can earn rewards, be notified of events, section preferences, and special requests made by guests.

  
  
  

• Moved “Enhanced Menu Flow for SpotOn Handhelds” from menu screen to Station settings so it is device specific rather than screen specific

  

• Clients can now print out a chit with the gift card balance for customers

  
  

• Added functionality to reload dishout gift cards in the POS

  
  
  

• Added wait spinners to BOH operations for Locations, Organizations, Stations and Accounts

Bug Fix:

• Net Sales data in POS now matches Net Sales data in reporting

• The “new tax rounding method” will now apply the correct sales amount when inclusive and exclusive taxes are present

• Menu screen buttons no longer disappear when a pricing event is created

• Time clock entries show correctly in BOH without needing to click “hide breaks”

• Fixed issue where ‘Pickup/Delivery Online Ordering Enabled’ is unchecked in BOH when Pickup/Delivery Setup Checklist’s conditions are all met. Now this setting will be auto checked if all conditions in checklist are met

• Show past orders when a customer scans a QR code for an order from the past instead of erroring out.

• Removed non taxable surcharge when all items are removed from an order

• Fixed issue where customers were able to go through the flow of ordering an item again even though an item’s modifier was unavailable or out of stock

• Tip selector now appears when added discounts are greater than the order total
