🔒 Re-Enablement of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on January 14, 2026🔒
We’re excited to announce that Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be re-enabled for all users on SkyTab Venue’s Canopy platform on Wednesday, January 14. This added layer of protection will help ensure that your account stays secure.
Feature Updates
Based on user feedback following initial deployment of this feature, we have made the following updates to the functionality:
Backup Authentication Method – Because many emails were being filtered, causing operational disruptions, we added a backup authentication method utilizing an authenticator app. Users can now select to authenticate either via email or any authenticator app.
Extended Re-Authentication Period – Instead of requiring re-authentication on every login, users will now only need to authenticate every seven days. If desired, the time frame for re-authentication can be customized by organization.
Bypass MFA on Xpedite – If Xpedite manager approval is enabled for an organization, you can now bypass MFA on Xpedite for manager approval by creating an email address for Xpedite Managers with a domain of "xpedite.com" (e.g. burgerstand@xpedite.com).
How It Works
Login – Enter your email address and password as usual.
Select Authentication Method – Select either Code via Email or Code via Authenticator App.
Verification Code – A one-time 6-digit code will be sent to the email associated with your account or to your Authenticator App (after initial setup).
Code Entry – Enter the code on the verification screen to complete your login.
Key Details
Codes will expire 15 minutes after being issued.
If needed, you can request a new code by selecting “Resend Code.”
If the emailed code is not appearing in your inbox, check your spam or junk folders.

noreply@venuenext.com
You’ll have three attempts to enter the correct code.
After three failed attempts, your account will be temporarily locked for 10 minutes before you can try again.
For your protection, SkyTab Venue support agents cannot see your verification codes nor unlock a temporarily locked account.
This update strengthens the security of your Canopy account while keeping the login experience simple and reliable. As always, please each out if you have any questions.
