The following changes are targeted for release between 04/21/2025 - 04/25/2025. Please note that these updates represent our current goals, but not all of them may be included in the official release depending on testing outcomes and any adjustments made during the final review process.

Canopy 2.0

Menus

Feature Updates:

  • Charges & Fees

    • Non-Taxable Service Charges and Delivery Fees are now configurable in Canopy 2.0 > Settings > Charges & Fees.

    • Percentage and/or fixed amounts for each configured charge or fee are supported.

    • Notes:

      • A future update will prevent service charges and fees from displaying in the Menus > Items list.

      • Another future update will allow users to configure taxable charges and fees. That update will be communicated in the coming weeks.

      • All charges and fees must contain a value in the percentage or flat amount inputs. If a percentage or flat amount is not desired, enter 0% or $0.00 as the value to prevent errors.

  • Merchants

    • Merchants have been enhanced to display additional metadata for each configured token.

    • Card Present or Card Not Present are applied to each valid Merchant.

      • Card Present Merchants can only be assigned to POS or Kiosk menus.

      • Card Not Present Merchants can only be assigned to Revenue Centers.

      • Merchants with the type of Invalid Token are unable to be assigned to Revenue Centers or Menus but will continue to display for visibility.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where two clicks were required to view or edit an option in the Seat Manifest section.

  • Fixed an issue where Seat Manifest options were not sorted properly.

  • Fixed an issue where Seat Manifest uploads would fail.


Access

Feature Updates:

  • Force Password Reset

    • Users can now force a password reset for users within the current organization. Upon clicking the "Force Password Reset" button, an email will be sent to the user to reset their password. They will be unable to log in with their existing credentials until the reset it complete.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where the "Unconfirmed" status would not display properly within a Canopy Account.
