Introducing Menu Models!
Menu Models are a static collection of settings applied to a menu. Each Menu Model matches a specific service flow that has been observed and vetted by the VenueNext Product team. Menu Models ensure menu functionality is standardized throughout all of our organizations.
All of the Menu Models will apply item-level taxation, set proper order states once the order is placed, display the proper categories on POS/Kiosk/Mobile, and create personalized order cards automatically (see below).
Menu Models do not allow certain settings to be overridden at any setting level to ensure they are always functioning the way they were built.

Missing Merchant Identifiers
An icon will now be presented to users to alert them to missing Merchants on Revenue Centers and POS/Kiosk Menus.
Note: An icon will be presented if the legacy Merchant Token or Merchant Token Override fields contain a valid token. The alert icons only pertain to Merchant dropdowns. Once a Merchant has been added to a Revenue Center or POS/Kiosk Menu, the icon will go away.
Merchant Updates
Editing a Merchant will now display two new expandable sections: Assigned Revenue Centers and Assigned Menus.
Each Revenue Center or Menu listed in the drawer is configured to use the current Merchant.
Venue Settings
We have re-added Venue Settings to Canopy 2.0 which will impact all Revenue Centers and Menus in the currently selected venue.
Enable Offline Mode has been added and will display a confirmation modal upon activation.
Note: This setting MUST be deactivated manually to ensure devices go back online. Because devices depend on a connection to VenueNext services, enabling or disabling this setting while the device is not connected to a network will not allow the devices to update to the desired functionality or connection status.
Revenue Center Settings
Added Tips Enabled to the bottom of the Revenue Center drawer.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where Merchants would allow "None" to be selected as the processor. Shift4 is the only supported processor for Merchants and will be assigned automatically.
Enhanced the category fetching behavior in the following sections: Items, Display Categories, Reporting Categories.
Orders
Feature Updates:
Added a new Menu Model chip to the identification section of orders.
Note: The blue Menu Model chip will display when the Menu used for the order has a Menu Model defined.
Loyalty
Feature Updates:
Added Fortress as an Affiliation type for identification.
