Content: Menu Favorites, Order Notes, Larger Tip Buttons on Mobile


These are Pre-Release notes with the anticipated contents of a release targeted for September 3, 2025. There is potential for changes in the scope and timing of the release. We will send final release notes upon completion of the release.

Feature Updates:

  • Menu updates, including CFD images, will now be reflected automatically on the POS when logging in (device must be online)

  • The menu will now be filtered by the selected category

    • When searching within a category filter, only the selected category will be searched

    • You can still see the full catalog of items by navigating to the “All” category

  • You can now add items to a “Favorites” category on a device by long pressing the item button. 

    • Favorites will be persisted on a device until the app storage is cleared 

    • If one or more items has been favorited, it can be unfavorited by long pressing again

  • The tip screen on mobile devices has been updated

    • Larger tip buttons

    • Includes subtotal, tax, service charge and discount breakdown

    • Signature prompt has been removed

  • Notes can now be added to an order on placement and when opening or updating a tab

    • Note will print on the kitchen chit
      *There is not a minimum APK requirement for this feature, but more optimal formatting is available with APK version 2.20.3 and higher

    • Note will persist across service rounds

    • Note can be removed or updated when adding a new service round

    • Device must be online to add a note

Bug Fix:

  • Fixed an issue where the orders to sync counts in the yellow bar and sales report were not decreasing to 0, even after successfully completing the sync
