These are Pre-Release notes with the anticipated contents of a release scheduled for July 29, 2025. There is potential for changes in the scope and timing of the release. We will send final release notes upon completion of the release.

Feature Updates:

  • Donations and Round Up for Charity options are now supported on the POS

    • Knowledge base article for configuration and use to be linked in final release notes

  • You can now configure manually applied discounts to require manager approval on the POS

  • The offline sync will now resume where it left off if it is interrupted due to the terminal going offline or being powered off during the sync process

  • There is now a single “Orders to Sync” count in the sales report

    • This count is replacing the “Offline Card Transactions” and “Unsynced Order Details Data” counts in the POS Sales Report 

    • This count will now be reported in the yellow bar in the menu when there is at least one unsynced order on the device

    • When all three steps of the offline sync have completed, the “Orders to Sync” count will be 0

  • Orders placed on an offline terminal will automatically sync to the STV backend as soon as the device comes back online (Note: functionality of offline card transaction syncing will remain the same and will only occur when tapping the Sync button or automatically after the device is online and idle for 30 minutes)

Bug Fix:

  • Fixed an issue where there user was unable to return to the menu screen after manually applying a discount to an order
