Note: These are Pre-Release notes with the anticipated contents of a release scheduled on 6/25/2024 at 9:30 am EST. There is potential for changes in the scope of the release. We will send final release notes following completion of the release.
Feature Updates:
General performance enhancements
Limited use promotions removed via SKU loaded tickets can now be accurately tracked per loyalty user
The POS user will now automatically be logged out after being idle for 30 mins, given that the POS is online and there are no remaining orders to sync
Improved handling of the gateway get invoice job when an invoice number is duplicated (Requires a platform update)
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where orders would get moved from completed to canceled on the POS, causing issues with reconciliation
Fixed an issue where the POS user was able to remove items from an order after activating the card reader, resulting in a discrepancy between the amount charged and the order total in the VN database
Fixed an issue where canceled orders contained a payment transaction with a settlement amount
Fixed an issue on Kiosk where the the user was not prompted to select an alternative payment method when the mobile wallet payment failed for a QR Pay order
