This is the minimum required APK version for POS Summit  

Enhancements:

• Added support for POS Summit, a feature that supports a single POS APK build for each SkyTab Venue ecosystem, instead of a build for each venue within an ecosystem. As a result, all venues within an ecosystem will use the same APK, allowing merchants to autonomously switch devices between venues or between orgs within the same ecosystem, instead of having to reach out to STV Support

• For added security

  • All PAX devices will now prompt the user to select SkyTab Venue as the home app on launch. This will prevent non-admin users from accessing Android settings and other applications (i.e. BroadPOS) from the home screen

• The Debug modal will now require a manager password to open, allowing administrators to quickly navigate away from the VN app when needed 

  • When the VN app is launched, 7-tap in the header on any screen

  • You will be prompted for a password > enter code 100710 >  tap OK

• After entering a valid password, you will now be in “Debug mode”

  • The menu will open with the “Restart Application” button, allowing you to restart the app without rebooting the device

  • The navigation bar will become visible and status bar will become “active”, allowing you to swipe down to access the Android settings

• To exit “Debug mode”, tap the X in top right of modal or tap anywhere in the app outside of the Debug modal

  • If no action is taken, it will automatically timeout after 30 seconds
