Feature updates:
- This release continues to expand KDSX Logs to increase our ability to support the product in production. - KDSX logs now record the version of each one of the applications/libraries that are being used at the location. This includes ActivateX, InteractX, Check Sync, and the UOP library. 
- KDSX logs also record detailed information for all the major printing operations, including: - Timestamp 
- Action (Manual Print, Auto Print) 
- Order IDs 
- Printer IP (or ID) 
- Operation result - These logs are recorded on both Standard Mode and Printer Proxy Mode. 
 
 
 
Install/Reset Instructions:
- While investigating production issues (network usage, order sync delays, and stoppages), our team identified a gap in our processes - Enterprise Resets and Clear Data are not always clearing all the data from the local applications. This leads to the persistence of these issues after a reset. 
- This will be remedied in our next release. For now, users must follow these steps when resetting a location with KDS Android: - Force stop each app (AX, IX, CS, & KDSX) 
- Clear Storage in every app 
- Launch Check Sync (and confirm that it is Started) - Start Server manually if needed 
 
- Launch apps 
- Configure each app with Check Sync IP 
- Log in on every app 
 
Bug fixes:
- KDSX will not be impacted by Canceled orders - live orders will still appear on the KDS screen. This bug fix was previously released in KDSX 5.10.1. 
- Changing the paper on any KDSX printer no longer results in delays/errors in the app. 
- The KDSX UI now shows the correct font sizes. 
Known limitations:
- Order Types are not supported when running with Checks in Connect Mode. - If the location is set up to use order types and the accounts/roles use Checks, the orders will not show on KDS. 
 
- When changing the order status on a Vendor KDS, the corresponding Subvendor KDS status is changed automatically.
