Content: Connect, Connect - Reporting, and Suites features and bug fixes

Connect

Features:

• A change was made to improve order detection for orders with old modifiers in Connect mode. This change enables better order detection to prevent missing or lost orders in the KDS (Kitchen Display System) when orders are placed within the same timeframe.

• A notes field was added to the Purchase Order create, edit, and export views in Connect Inventory.

• Notes fields were added to transfers on the create, edit, and export views.

• On the Inventory True Up Main, Count Groups, and Review pages, the 'Snapshot' and 'Variance' columns will now be displayed.

• On the Inventory event standsheet, the 'Sales' column was re-labeled to 'Expected Sales' This column represents the expected sold inventory times the item price.

• Changed the name of the Item > "Print" setting to "Print on Receipt", and added a tooltip to clarify what it does: "This setting controls whether this item will be included on Activate & Suites guest receipts and Suites reports."

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed a bug causing the Item sets page to not display at the corporate login.

• Fixed a bug causing incorrect par transfer values when a par transfer was created when creating or opening an inventory event.

• Fixed a bug preventing the Connect user from adding or editing custom tender images or icons.

• Fixed a bug causing the item sets list page not to display any item sets at the corporate login.

• Fixed a bug on Connect Venue login that was causing a blank page to display when the 'Override taxes' attribute was selected on a corporate item.

• Fixed a bug preventing the employee and terminal accounts from being updated at a Venue login.

• Fixed a bug preventing the creation of users and preventing the assignment of venues to corporate accounts.

• Fixed a bug on inventory True Up that prevented some items from displaying on the add an item modal on the True Up count group creation page.

Reporting

Features:

• Some column labels have been updated on the Tips and Gratuity report to clarify them.

• Additional error messaging has been added when an Analytics report fails to load so a user has more guidance when errors occur.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed a bug causing Analytics to be disabled by default when a new venue was created in Connect.

• Fixed an issue causing the Item Name, Discount Name, and Promo Code filters in Analytics reports not to load the correct values.

  • For performance reasons, these filters will now require a user to type at least 3 characters before values begin to populate in the drop-down.

Suites

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed an issue preventing the correct "Refund" status from being displayed for refunded orders on the Suite Orders page.

• Fixed an issue causing the Custom Tender filter on the Suite Orders page to incorrectly filter out all orders in "Completed" status.

• Fixed an error message that was, in some cases, displaying incorrectly after a user downloaded the Event Order report.

• Fixed an issue causing deleted modifiers to appear in the Distribution & Kitchen Production reports.
