Notification: Cloud Printing [Pusher Load Balance]- Action Required

The VN POS Application utilizes an external provider [Pusher] for cloud printing capability. Out of abundance of caution, we have added an an additional Pusher account to support higher throughput for cloud printing.  We are load balancing our multi-tenant ecosystems between the two accounts. In order to ensure that the VN POS application is subscribing to the proper account, it will require the application to be completely closed and then restarted.

We recommend the following steps:

  1. Reboot/restart all devices running VN POS and related CFD/payment devices.  It is critical to reboot those devices that are designated as printer controller for cloud printing receipts or kitchen chits

  2. Confirm that ports are whitelisted per this knowledgebase article and specifically as needed for pusher noted below:
