Content: Custom Kiosk Attract Loop Images, Bug Fixes


These are Pre-Release notes with the anticipated contents of a release targeted for October 22, 2025. There is potential for changes in the scope and timing of the release. We will send final release notes upon completion of the release.

Enhancements:

  • Previously applied charity donations can now be edited for re-opened tabs

  • Operators can now configure a custom attract loop image for their Kiosk menus

    • Requires Menu Manager v3.1.0 or higher – for more information on configuring Kiosk menu images, go to SkyTab Venue Menu Manager: Kiosk Attract Loop Images

    • Kiosk attract loop images should be 1080x1920px with a maximum file size of 1.5MB

    • If a custom Kiosk image has been uploaded for a menu and the Kiosk is online, the image will replace the default attract loop screen

    • If a custom Kiosk image has not been uploaded for a menu or if the Kiosk is offline, it will fallback to the default attract loop screen 

    • The default “Order Now” text will not be displayed over custom images; if text is desired, it should be included as part of the image

    • If multiple menus containing a custom image are configured on a Kiosk, a slideshow of the menu images will be displayed 

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the tip was being excluded from the settlement amount when closing a tab under certain conditions

  • Fixed an issue where offline card transactions were sometimes missing a settlement amount in reporting after being successfully synced

  • Fixed an issue where tabs were sometimes going into an authorization failed state when closing to a non-credit card tender
