Canary Release

Enhancements:

  • Tabs can now be transferred between attendants – for more information on utilizing this feature, go to SkyTab Venue POS: Transfer Tabs Between Attendants

    • Manager approval is required

    • Tabs can be transferred to any active attendant or manager for the venue

    • Sale and gratuity from the transferred tab will be attributed to the attendant receiving the transfer in reporting

    • The tab recipient will now see the tab when viewing "My Open Tabs" or "My Closed Orders" from the orders list

    • The transferred tab will still be accessible to all logged in attendants when viewing “All Orders”

    • Tabs can be transferred on an offline terminal only if the tab has never been accessed or managed from an online terminal (i.e. tab has not been synced to the database)

  • Further refined the payment invoice number format to ensure uniqueness

    • Invoice numbers will now utilize an attribute of the device’s configuration (first 4) + a unique time stamp (last 6) instead of last 4 of the device ID + the order number

  • The default tip confirmation modal now works on CFD, as well as non-CFD devices

    • When enabled, the user will now receive a confirmation modal when proceeding with the pre-selected default tip amount

    • To configure: Menu Manager > Venue Settings > Confirm Suggested Tip Percentage (Toggle On)

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue on CFD where, under certain circumstances, the user was able to add items to the cart after select the credit card payment method, resulting in the order total being higher than the amount charged on the card

  • Fixed an issue where the charity name text was too small on mobile devices when there was charity image

  • Fixed an issue on Kiosk where the card reader was not coming back online after the offline cooldown period

  • Fixed an issue where global availability settings were not being properly reflected

Features & Enhancements:

  • Tax Rate Field Update

    • With the recent introduction of Tax Groups and Tax Classes, the Tax Rate, Taxable and Tax Inclusive fields have been removed from Venue Config → Active Global Items to reduce redundancy.

  • Approvals Report

    • Gain visibility into manager-approved employee actions, including:

      • Refunds

      • Tax Exempt transactions

      • Discounts

      • Transfer Tabs

      • Open Priced Items

      • Price Adjustments

    • This report helps improve oversight and auditing of approval-based activity.

    • To maintain consistency across approval reporting, the Open Priced Items & Price Adjustments tile has been removed from Operational Sales reports and is now fully represented in the Approvals Report.

  • Loyalty Report

    • A new Loyalty Report provides insight into sales when customers scan their SkyTab Venue Wallet QR Code, broken out by:

      • User

      • Affiliation

      • Discount

    • This enables better tracking of loyalty usage and performance across your venue.

  • Orders Drill Through

    • We have added Service Charges to the dataset when you drill into an Orders number in reports.
