Appetize: AirWatch App Catalog Transitioning to AirWatch Intelligent Hub
Dear Customer,
Beginning October 31, 2024 AirWatch will transition from using the current “App Catalog” on Apple iOS devices to the new AirWatch Intelligent Hub application. Prior to this transition date, all Appetize clients will be required to download, install, and configure the Intelligent Hub app on all Apple iOS devices deployed in AirWatch. This is something that can only be done at the device level and must be done by clients in the field. Moving forward, any new or replacement devices will also be enrolled using the Intelligent Hub App.
There are no changes to the Appetize KDS and Activate applications. Both applications will still function as expected after October 31, 2024. However, should you need to troubleshoot the devices by uninstalling/reinstalling the Appetize applications, users will need to access through the new AirWatch Intelligent Hub. To install AirWatch Intelligent Hub, the device must have an active Apple ID and password associated with the device which is a change from the App Catalog.
Please refer to this Knowledge Base article for instructions. We recommend proactively completing this installation prior to October 31, 2024.
