Upcoming Required Update: Shift4 Dine v1.124

Dear Valued Merchant,

SkyTab POS is now officially Shift4 Dine! You’ll see Shift4 Dine reflected across communications, support materials, and within the POS system itself. While the name is new, your core operations, interface, and functionality remain the same, supported by a unified global platform designed for today’s restaurants and tomorrow’s growth.

Shift4 Dine v1.124 will be deployed starting Tuesday, May 19th, as a required update.  Please leave all devices - Workstations, Handhelds, etc. - powered on and connected overnight to receive this update and be sure to accept this update on all Workstations.

What’s New in This Release:

• Updated payment screen on Handheld with a new dropdown for faster payment method selection

• New Split Evenly icon with pre-calculated amounts and improved multi-payment workflow

• Ability to void and correct split payments directly from the payments list

• Multi-tender payments now supported on Handheld

• Full Advantage Program support on Handheld (Dual Pricing, Supplemental Fees, Cash Discounting)

• QR Pay and Pay with Crypto now available on Handheld

• Configurable marketing QR code can now be printed on guest checks and receipts

• Digital receipts can be re-sent for completed tickets from the Workstation

• Kitchen tickets now clearly show “WITH: [parent item name]” for better modifier context

• New printer setting: “Show Linked Parent Item on Routed Tickets”
